Invitation for RFP for Lawn Maintenance

The Seminole County Housing Authority is currently accepting bids for lawn maintenance for two separate locations. 

 

Location 1: 145 W Pine Ave Longwood, FL 32750

Location 2: 605 & 607 Maine Court Longwood, FL 32750

 

This bid process will close on April 8, 2024. We reserve the right to keep this bid process open until enough bids are received.  

Requirements to bid:

  • Must be licensed and insured
  • Must ensure no employees are on a sex offender registry
  • Must ensure all employees are eligible to work within the United States, through citizenship or proper work papers.
  • Must perform all work in a safe and lawful manner.
  • Must provide all equipment necessary to complete all work. 

Scope of Work:

  • Mow all grass areas weekly from April to October. Biweekly November through March
  • Weed eat and/or apply chemical treatment around buildings, trees, and sidewalks. 
  • Edge the entire property along sidewalks and walkways.
  • Trim all ornamental bushes. No bushes are permitted to touch the buildings.
  • Leaf blowing and removal of yard waste and debris
  • Leaf removal seasonally including from the parking lot at the 145 W Pine Ave. location

Or email reception@schafla.org for a list of questions and answers. Question and answer period will close one week prior to the deadline for bid, April 1, 2024.

  • If a copy of this Invitation for Bid is needed, please email reception@schafla.org to receive a copy. 
  • Submit completed bids with all requirements to Sherry Swift at 145 W Pine Ave. Longwood, FL 32750. Bids submitted through email must be attached in pdf format and sent to sswift@schafla.org. All requirements will have answers to the statements above, regarding employees and will include a copy of liability insurance. 
  • The deadline to be considered will be April 8, 2024. However, this bid will remain open until enough bids are received. A minimum of three (3) are required for this process. 
  • Please submit two separate bids, one for each location.
